ENGAGEMENT

We wanted to make our engagement shoot extra special by taking photos in areas that meant a lot to each of us.

Brian lived in Northeast Minneapolis for 4 years and it easily became our favorite part of the city, especially the Marshall Terrace and Northeast Arts District neighborhoods, where a lot of our favorite breweries and restaurants are. We always have a lot of fun over there, so we opted for equally fun photos at Betty Danger's (the ferris wheel!) that mirror our laid-back, laughter-filled relationship, as well as photos that show off the beautiful area we love along the Mississippi River.

Dominique lived in downtown St. Paul for 4 years and it quickly became her home away from home. (Brian especially loved it because she lived close to the Xcel Energy Center, where his beloved Minnesota Wild play.) We loved discovering new and old places all around downtown and we’re beyond grateful for the experiences we had there. So we really wanted our photos to celebrate the little city we both love, while also showing off the amazing skyline view (which includes Dom’s old home!) from across the River at Harriet Island.
